Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framing & Drywall Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have experience in interior construction and renovation projects, including steel stud framing, drywall installation and finishing, and acoustic ceiling systems. Some light demolition may be required.

This role requires a motivated individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform various interior renovation and construction tasks
Install steel stud framing systems
Install and finish drywall
Install acoustic ceilings (grid and tile)
Safely operate power tools and hand tools
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety standards and project requirements
Communicate professionally with team members and clients as needed

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in framing, drywall, or interior construction
Carpentry training or certification considered an asset
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods
Experience with commercial and/or residential interior construction
Ability to read construction drawings
Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
