Full-Time Maintenance Position - Winakwa Community Centre (Winnipeg, MB)
Winakwa Community Centre has one full-time position available to start immediately. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to work in all weather conditions, hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence, and pass a criminal record check.
Main Duties
Summer months:
- Garbage collection
- Grass trimming and cutting (push mower and riding mower)
- Lifting and carrying
- Painting and planting
- Tree trimming
- Other outdoor duties as assigned
Winter months:
- Ice and rink maintenance
- Snow clearing
- General outdoor maintenance
Requirements
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs unassisted
- Experience is an asset; training provided for a suitable candidate
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Satisfactory criminal record check
Hours
7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (8-hour day)
Pay
$15.80 per hour
