Lead Carpenter/Framer - Oak and Hammer Construction
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements (Preferred but not needed)
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Install doors, windows, and other exterior finishes
- Frame walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings using various construction techniques
- Repair or restore existing structures as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics (Preferred but not needed)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques (preferred but not needed)
- Carpentry skills including framing, drywall installation, and trim work (Framing #1)
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques (preferred but not needed)

Contract length: 4-12 months
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers license (required)
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2024-04-22
