This micro-credential training will prepare you for a rewarding career as a Home Care Attendant, providing essential support and care to individuals in their homes. You will develop the practical skills and confidence needed to work within the Interlake–Eastern Regional Health Authority service area, with employment secured upon successful completion.

Opportunities include part-time EFT and casual positions, giving you flexibility while launching a meaningful career in health care.

What You Need to Know

• Paid training (3 weeks) with guaranteed employment upon successful completion
• Opportunities for part-time EFT and casual work following training
• Open to Red River Métis Citizens aged 18+ — proof of MMF Citizenship is required
• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Abuse Checks required
• Commitment to providing respectful, quality care
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle

Eligibility Requirements

• You are a Red River Métis Citizen (proof of MMF Citizenship card required)
• You are 18 years of age or older
• You hold a valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's licence
• You have access to a reliable vehicle
• You can provide a satisfactory Criminal Record and Abuse Check
• You are available for full-time training September 14 – October 6, 2026
