Success Story Submission Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Success Story Submission initiative (the "Initiative"). We are thrilled to hear and share the remarkable success stories from Red River Métis individuals who have participated in programs or services delivered by the Métis Employment & Training (MET) Department of theManitoba Métis Federation (MMF). By submitting your story, you have a chance not only to inspire others but also to receive recognition for your accomplishments on our website and social media platforms.

1. Content Usage Agreement

By submitting your story along with any photographs, videos, or other supplementary materials (collectively, the "Content") to the Initiative, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Content in whole or in part, across any media currently existing or developed in the future for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without further approval from you or additional compensation to you.

You confirm and guarantee that you own or have secured all necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to authorize us to use all the intellectual property and other proprietary rights in and to any and all Content to enable the inclusion and use of the Content as envisioned by the Initiative and these Terms and Conditions. While all Content remains your property, by submitting it for the Initiative, you provide a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, perpetual global license to use your Content as stated above.

2. Submission Guidelines

Eligibility: This Initiative is open to Red River Métis Citizens who have participated in programs or services delivered by the Métis Employment & Training (MET) department of the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF). Participation is restricted to individuals who have completed their program.

Acknowledgment: A selection of story submissions may be highlighted on the MMF website (mmf.mb.ca), MET website (mmfemployment.ca), associated social media platforms, print publications, or other relevant promotional materials. By participating in this Initiative, you grant the MMF and MET Department the right to publish your name, hometown, photograph, and, if applicable, the name of the program. Personal contact information will not be disclosed to the public.

Consent: By participating, you agree that your name, likeness, and story can be used for promotional purposes in connection with the Initiative, without additional notice or compensation.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You affirm that your submission is original and that you hold the rights necessary to submit the Content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers and their affiliates from any claims or liabilities related to your submission or any breach of these terms.
