Celebrating Red River Métis Achievements Contest (CRRMA) Terms and Conditions

1. Photo/Content Release

By submitting your story and any accompanying photographs, videos, or other materials (collectively, the "Content") to the Contest, you grant MMF-MET an irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Content, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, for MMF-MET promotional, marketing, educational, and communications purposes, without further approval by or compensation to you.

You represent and warrant that you own or have secured all necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize MMF-MET to use all intellectual property and other proprietary rights in and to the Content submitted. All Content submitted by you remains your property. However, by entering the Contest, you grant MMF-MET a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use your Content as described in this section.

2. Contest Rules

• Eligibility: The Contest is open only to Red River Métis Citizens who were supported by MMF-MET between April 1, 2025, and June 30, 2025. Individuals who did not receive support during this period are not eligible. MMF-MET reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine eligibility and to disqualify any participant found to have violated these Terms and Conditions. Employees of MMF-MET and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
• Contest Period: The Contest opens on April 13, 2026 and closes on July 31, 2026. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be considered.
• How to Enter: Participants must submit their success story, along with any optional accompanying Content, through the official MMF-MET submission form. Entries must include the participant's name, contact information, and a brief description of how MMF-MET supported their achievements.
• Prizes: Each eligible submission will receive a participation incentive of $250. In addition, three (3) grand prize winners will be selected to receive $500 each. All prizes will be awarded at the sole discretion of MMF-MET.
• Selection of Winners: Winners will be notified by email or phone. If a selected winner cannot be reached, is unresponsive, or is deemed ineligible, MMF-MET reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
• Consent: By entering the Contest, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and success story in publicity, promotional materials, and communications produced by MMF-MET, without further notice or compensation.

3. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

By submitting an entry, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You affirm that your submission is your original work and that you have the right to provide the Content. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless MMF-MET and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claim, action, damage, loss, or expense arising from your submission or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without notice. Continued participation in the Contest following any such update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
