Celebrating Red River Métis Achievements Contest (CRRMA) Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

The Contest is open to Red River Métis Citizens with a valid MMF Citizenship Number who received support through MMF-MET between April 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.

MMF-MET will verify eligibility using available program and client records. Participants may be contacted to provide additional information where eligibility cannot be confirmed. MMF-MET reserves the right to determine eligibility in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and to disqualify entries that do not meet the stated requirements.

2. Contest Rules and Prizes

• Contest Period: The Contest opens on April 13, 2026, and closes on July 31, 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
• How to Enter: Participants must submit their success story through the official MMF-MET Contest submission form. Submissions must include the participant's name, contact information, and a description of how MMF-MET supported their achievements. Photographs, videos, and other supporting materials may be submitted but are optional.
• Participation Incentive: Each verified eligible submission will receive a $250 participation incentive. Submission of an entry does not guarantee payment unless the eligibility requirements are met.
• Grand Prizes: Three (3) eligible participants will be randomly selected to receive an additional $500 each, for a total of $750 per selected winner, including the participation incentive.
• Winner Selection and Notification: Grand prize winners will be selected from eligible submissions and notified by email or telephone. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is found to be ineligible, MMF-MET may select an alternate eligible participant.
• Verification and Disqualification: MMF-MET reserves the right to verify submitted information and disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or otherwise fail to meet these Terms and Conditions.

3. Content and Publicity Consent

By entering the Contest, participants authorize MMF-MET to use their submitted success stories and any accompanying photographs, videos, or other materials (collectively, the "Content") for promotional, educational, and communications purposes.

Participants retain ownership of their Content but grant MMF-MET a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable licence to reproduce, publish, distribute, display, translate, adapt, and otherwise use the Content, in whole or in part, in print, digital, and other media.

This authorization includes the use of participants' names, likenesses, and success stories in MMF-MET publications, websites, social media, and other communications without further approval or compensation beyond any applicable Contest prizes or incentives.

Participants confirm that they own or have obtained the necessary rights and permissions to submit their Content and authorize its use as described above.

4. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Participants confirm that the information provided is accurate and that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit their Content.

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless MMF-MET and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the submission of Content without the necessary rights or permissions.

MMF-MET reserves the right to clarify or amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary, provided that such changes do not retroactively alter the eligibility requirements or prizes applicable to entries already submitted.
