Roblox Game Development & Design Training Program

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from eligible Red River Métis Citizens interested in a potential Roblox Game Development & Design training program. Participants would gain hands-on experience in game development, learn Lua scripting, and explore pathways into the gaming industry.

The gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world, and Red River Métis Youth have a place in it. Whether you're building your first game or launching a creative career, Maskwa Games provides practical, project-based training designed to take you from concept to a live, published Roblox experience.

Learn colour theory, texture creation, lighting, and visual aesthetics - the building blocks of any compelling game world.

Write real scripts to control game logic, player interactions, and dynamic mechanics using Roblox's native programming language.

Apply level design principles, integrate terrain and objects, and develop a complete game from concept to a working experience.

Learn how real developers work - playtesting with peers, gathering feedback, and improving your game through iteration.

Go live on Roblox, configure your game settings, and showcase your finished experience at the final showcase.
